Mr. King graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music.  Mr. King has studied accounting concepts, financial analysis and various investment strategies.  Mr. King's first work experience with finance was with First Security Bank of Idaho, where he learned about operating in a highly regulated industry, the value of conservative money management, and client service.  After three years with the bank, Mr. King went to work at the investment firm of Richards, Merrill & Peterson, Inc.   Mr. King not only acted as a registered representative for this company, but was also heavily involved in the firms operations.  He was instrumental in building and maintaining a computer network and introducing the internet and e-mail to the firm.  He was also responsible for building and maintaining the firms portfolio management system that tracked client portfolios for the nine registered representatives.  Mr. King is heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of Northwest Investment Advisors, Inc. and helping representatives meet their clients' needs.

Sadly, on January 12, 2011 Mr. King passed away after a courageous battle for his life. We will truly miss our friend not only for his dedication to the firm and its clients, but also for his leadership in showing us that family must always come first.
